I took a diagnostic and 3 more while studying content and it helped me realize certain learning systems weren't working. I assumed that I should have seen a slight improvement from my diagnostic score after two months. But I think regular PT'ing is better when it's closer to your test day.
silly question but where does the core curriculum end?
yes
If this is your first time with the studies, I recommend finishing the cc. I get wanting to apply what you're learning. If you haven't taken a diagnostic, take a diagnostic to see where you're at. If you know your goal score, or when you want to take the actual test, adjust accordingly.
I've taken a few older practice tests just to see what it is I need to work on most over the past few months. It's helped to understand speed and endurance. However, you don't want make it a habit where you waste PTs.
Hope this helps
