I'll be taking the august LSAT, and will also begin my fourth year of undergrad shortly after. I am attempting to get my affairs in order so that I can apply to schools asap. Should I just have the transcript sent to LSAC now and update it after the fall and spring semester closes?

Former admissions officer here. You should sent your official transcripts to LSAC now if you intend to apply to law schools in the fall. The admissions committee will review your application based on the grades you have right now. If a school hasn't made a final decision by December, you can follow up and send an updated transcript with your fall 2021 grades. Good luck!
