    So, let's start by thinking of what type of argument the author is making. The argument is that one method is preferable to the other because it reduces the amount of animal testing. The assumption is that the alternative is preferable soley on the fact that it reduces the amount of testing on animals. For MSS questions we have to be careful not to bring new information in. C and D brings in a new element, the financial impact and D is supported because we are not given information pertaining to how many product tests will occur instead how many will have animals as their subject.
