Does anyone have any insight or advice on whether or not its a good idea to cancel your score? My previous undergrad advisor said not to cancel your score unless you absolutely flopped the test. I took the October LSAT and had some personal matters come up unexpectedly the day before. I don't think I realized how much it would subconsciously affect me and my score went down two points from my previous score last fall cycle. Is that a reason to cancel my score or maybe just write about my circumstances in an addendum?
I'm taking the November LSAT and plan to do better on that one.

I feel like they would assume the score was much lower than it really was and all cancelling will do is spark questions for them. Two points is nothing.
not sure i would cancel over 2 points, i had the same thing happen and i'm not going to cancel. like you said there's no reason to cancel unless you "flop" and two points isn't really a flop. if anything canceling will look worse because they'll see that and assume it was much worse than a 2 point drop.
I canceled my score when something similar happened to me. During law school interviews, I was asked why I canceled it. So, they definitely see it, but you don't have to disclose what the score was. I think looking back, deleting the score was a good choice since now my multiple LSAT scores show that I have consistently improved. But really it's up to you.
Any advice would be helpful!
