Self-study
I'm taking the April LSAT, hopefully the last one I take. My applications don't close until July 31st, for the Fall 2026 cycle. Seems late, but I figured I should still apply late instead of not at all. I know if seats are slimming down, my chances are lower, but besides that, does it mean anything else applying late? What if I apply, don't get in, and apply early addmison 2027? Will that look bad for admisson committees?

I’m kind of in the same boat. I took LSAT in November did not score well. I am now retaking in April. I submitted my applications in October but now that I am taking LSAT in April, not sure of my chances of getting in. Not sure if I have a shot for Fall 2026. If not Fall 2027 here I come!
I would just prepare all your apps and submit them in early September.
@WaystarKhanco What is the biggest reasoning behind this?
@Kihla333 if you can get everything ready after you get a good score in April then you can try it by all means, but statistically it is just much harder to get in with late apps. May save you some time, to just wait a few months, refine your application perhaps, and spend the application fees during a time when you have a better shot
As someone also seemingly applying late, but hopefully before the priority deadline (March 15th), I would also like to know. Commenting to stay updated hehe.
