Subscription pricing
I need advice on why X essays. When is it needed to write one? I’ve never visited the schools or have family or friends that attended the university. My only reason really for these schools is location and some of the clinics. I don’t want to write an essays that could bring my other ones down. Please help!!

I think your reasons of location and clinics are what they're looking for! I'm sure that law schools don't assume that most of us have visited the school or have alumni connections. I believe that its purposes are similar to the undergraduate 'why x' essays? But I think you're on the right track!
