go back to the basics for each question type and understand what you're looking for. fundamentally there's nothing different between a 1 star and a 5 star.
I would say the strategy that helped me most was thoroughly reading and understanding the stimulus, as well as what the question type entails. I also keep a wrong-answer journal that I use to review the higher-difficulty questions.
