HI! I'm taking the exam in February, so I'm trying to get ready with regular PTs. People have mentioned exam-day routines and warm-ups. Can anyone share what they do to get ready for an exam/PT and what, if any, warm up questions or drills you do? Thank you sm!!

Night before: absolutely no more studying allowed (I took a pt day before bc I couldn’t relax, and it kinda just wore me out), eat a good dinner, pack your snack, lay out exam clothes, have a clear water bottle, know your LawHub login, go to bed early, if you can’t sleep from nerves - knock yourself out with melatonin. Try to get an afternoon exam if you know you’re not a morning person.
Test day: wake up, do some sort of light exercise, I like to walk my dog and hold planks and stretch, eat a good breakfast, shower, coffee/no coffee (whatever is your normal routine), sounds dumb but make sure to poop before you go, shower, I have some notes I review (things like conclusion indicators, tips on each question type), do a drill of 2-5 questions to warm up your brain, make sure you have your clothes, snack, water and be at exam center 30 minutes early. Then don’t stress. There’s actually nothing else you can do at that point. For January I just thought: confidence and flow! Also just lock in. It lowkey is a psychological mental war w stress and you just gotta fight! Get to a point where you’re so rehearsed that little things don’t throw you off. Proctor issues, someone keeps coughing in the exam room, you had an argument with someone recently, you’re tired, or anything no matter how big or small! You’ve got this! Believe in yourself and never give up!
