Self-study
Hi! I’m wondering whether, and to what extent, your speed improved over time on sections or practice tests. I am happy with my score, but right now I am taking double time on everything. Should I expect that over time, my score will stay the same while my time decreases?
Do you have any tips for getting faster?
Thank you so much for your help! :)

No that is something that you should probably not expect. Unless you are drilling under actual conditions you should not expect your current scores to be reflective of your actual performance on the LSAT. I would recommend taking a full length timed PT to simulate actual conditions and use that score as your baseline.
I’m in a very similar position.
English isn’t my first language, so I often need extra time to really process the wording and structure. When I slow down and give myself space to think, my accuracy goes up steadily. But as soon as I try to speed up, it becomes much harder to maintain that level of consistency.
Right now I’m focusing on building clean understanding first, and hoping that speed will come more naturally as patterns become more automatic.
Glad to know I’m not the only one dealing with this 🙂
Looks like you have the knowledge and skills down to get the score you want, but the timing isn't there yet. The good news is that the hard part is over--aka, understanding the content. All that's left now is to incorporate more timing practice. Going off your profile, it looks like you're aiming for June, so there's plenty of time to do this. Generally, as you progress towards the actual day of testing and you keep practicing, start going from 2x time to 1.75x, 1.60x, 1.45x, all the way down to 1x (regular time).
Good luck, you got this!
