Self-study
Hi Everyone, I recently took the LSAT in January and due to life and work, I had to do it in the middle of a cross country move so I scored much lower than I know I could have gotten based off my drills and PT's. I was planning on taking it again this week for February, but I think I want to practice more cause I know I can get above 165.
Can I reschedule it for April and still use that score to get into law school this fall?
Thanks Everyone!

Hello!
For a lot of schools, yes.
Check with your specific schools of interest, but most will allow you to apply prior to having your April score (so you can apply before the deadline), and send them a message letting them know you are waiting on a future score. That way, you can request one of two things:
Your application gets reviewed with your current score. If you do better in April you would then submit for admission and/or scholarship reconsideration
You ask your application be held for review until your April score comes out.
If you feel you have a decent chance of getting in with your current score, I'd go with 1. If you are significantly below both medians or otherwise have application concerns, I would go with number 2.
No matter what, wishing you good luck!
If you take the LSAT in April, the score is released in the end of April, right? You should check what school still accept application at the end of April. Another option is start your application now with the score you had from January and then contact the admission with your update your LSAT score in April, in that way, you won't miss deadline for majoriry of law school. Even if you do very well in April, what can that score do for you if you miss the application deadline for the Fall.
