Beginner Advice

Hi all,

Hope everyone is doing well :)

I'm just starting my LSAT journey with 7Sage and was wondering if anyone has a recommended study guide or work plan! {ie, Monday drill tests, Tuesday watch lectures, etc.}

Any advice, etc.

Thanks & best of luck to all

Happy studying !!

    Work on it for an hour every day. Answer questions. Don't stress about or overcomplicate it.

    Do not spam PT's. I'd say only after you've mastered the basics should you start taking PT's regularly, once a week is probably a good amount. And make sure to blind review every PT and every drill.

    @TheBigFatPanda ok, i skip blind reviews, that's good to know. by spamming PTs, do you mean taking them every day?

    @actuallymk yeah try to space out your PT's. Otherwise you'll run through fresh PT's without having learned all that much

    What helped me with questions, was learning the patterns in the answers. I have found that most (not all) have 3 similar incorrect answers and 2 similar "right" answers. This is not always fool proof, but it does help on a lot of questions.

    Something that was a lifesaver for me was going through the core curriculum; it brought me from the basics to a competitive level. Then I built the study plan using the 7sage study plan builder: https://7sage.com/u/usr_030DNqO63cTyRJ43CW73W4/study-plan. Wishing you happy studies, and let's crush this test!

    @SYM I agree, I would say get through the foundations. Understand your conditional reasoning it’s important for this test! Memorize your quantifier words, and the common fallacies! Best of luck with your studies!
