Hey there! So 7Sage actually does have a couple of lessons on how to prepare for the Argumentative Writing section for the LSAT! Here's the link to it: https://7sage.com/lessons/lsat-writing/lsat-argumentative-writing/the-new-lsat-writing-and-how-to-prepare

As I use a public computer most of the time, I use the written explanations more. But sometimes if I still am confused after reading the written explanation I check the video ones when I get home.

Also, keep in mind that June will be the last LSAT that you will be able to take remotely... Starting August you have to take it in a test center

Being completely honest with you, at first, you cannot. But as you get more practice, I found that one tends to predict the next paragraph, see main point and look at perspectives almost instantly. It may not seem so now, but put in the work and the fruits of it will come! Wishing you all the best, my friend.

Something that was a lifesaver for me was going through the core curriculum; it brought me from the basics to a competitive level. Then I built the study plan using the 7sage study plan builder: https://7sage.com/u/usr_030DNqO63cTyRJ43CW73W4/study-plan. Wishing you happy studies, and let's crush this test!

@rjon27 Fair enough, I end up doing the same as you. However, I would love an option to not even be tempted to look!

First of all want to say I am a big fan of 7sage and what it did for me! I do have one suggestion, and I'm not sure if it's already possible.

I was wondering whether the option of not seeing why the question was recommended for Blind Review would be advantageous. I sometimes subconsciously dismiss a blind review question when I see that I got it right, which I know I should not do. That being said, I feel like the option to omit why it was wrong until after submission would be great!

Thanks again!

Something that I found works for me is searching the question on google then typing "7sage" and it opens the question in the 7sage portal. But I agree, there should be an integrated system where you can search for specific questions.

@ancavintu956 I am five years late but to anyone reading this in the future: the word "apparently" can also mean "seemingly" as in "in the appearance of".

Without a shadow of a doubt! As someone whose English was not my first language, learning the nuances of grammar applied to the LSAT increased my score a lot.

I suppose it depends on when the LSAT date is... But since you will have 12 weeks of only practice I would hold off on doing PTs until you have the grasp on the basics. Because doing questions, while helpful, only works if you can explain why you got each question wrong. At least that's my two cents and that's what helped me out, but you do you!

@Tumptytumtoes Also keep in mind that the conclusion says garbage dumps do not harm wildlife, not the baboons specifically. The baboons were used as a specific example to demonstrate the general conclusion. So the hyenas population growing in a region with garbage dumps if anything strengthens the argument by showing that Garbage Dumps are not harming Hyenas, which is wildlife.

@MalvikaGeorge a bit late but for anyone reading for future reference: physical paper is not allowed on argumentative writing, only on the multiple choice actual LSAT.

You cannot use any keyboard commands in the actual LSAT after August 2023... So if you want to search something you have to, unfortunately, use the built-in text search bar at the top.

I would love to share! Do I post it publicly in the discussion board? How do I send it over?
