I just wanted to say I was extremely worried when I first started studying (jan1) that I would not have enough time to get a good score come April, and granted I obviously haven't taken the real thing, but I went from a 148 diagnostic (jan1) to a 169 PT (today ehehe) and I'm over the moon. I just wanted to post this for non trad applicants. I am 24, a veteran, have three children 1,3, and 4. My 4 year old being non verbal and having level 3 autism, but I was still able to get to a place where Im comfortable with my score (thanks to my amazing husband). Idk I'm so happy and wish I could just tell my day one self that I was gonna be fine. Good luck April testers!

Amazing! I'm a 36yo mom of a 7yo, so I know how hard it is to find the time to study and drill. You go, mama!
From one autism mama to another congrats!!! This gives me hope. My test is in August and some days I feel so overwhelmed but this is so encouraging. I know you are going to absolutely crush it in April!
Great work, I got a 168 on the January LSAT coming from a 154 in May while deployed. Feel free to reach out if you need anything. I was pretty far along the app process before deciding to delay a year and apply next cycle.
That is fantastic!
Also a Veteran, and even less traditional -- taking the LSAT at 45y/o after retiring from AD.
What would you say was the difference? I'm at a place right now where in my Blind Reviews Im getting 169-170, but theres a significant gap in my PTs.
Amazing! Im at 155 and just hit a wall and cant improve and feel like there is never enough time... do you have any tips?
@alyssazimmer My goal is about a 170
@alyssazimmer this was me about a month ago, I was really stuck. Here's a few things Ive started doing and idk if they will work for everyone but they are things that have helped me. When I am doing drills or PTs, when I answer a Q I "hide" the ACs I KNOW are not correct, chose the AC I want, and leave visible ACs that I wasn't 100% sure were wrong. This way, If I got the Q wrong and it's something I left unhidden, I can mainly focus on why that was right and why the answer choice I chose was wrong. I don't have to waste my time learning why AC I would have never chosen are wrong. Granted I think learning why AC were wrong in the beginning was valuable but at this point I am I little more confident in what I know. Im really hoping that makes sence lol.
I have also been using the heck out of that highlight tool, which might sound like lame advice, BUT I feel like in RC in particular I've started to recognize parts of the passage that I just FEEEEEL like I will be asked questions about, and I like to highlight when I come across those. It saves Me time if?when I look back to the passage.
Besides those 2 things, I like to take a day OFF, I won't touch 7 sage and I'll come back better for some reason. I find that QUALITY over QUANTITY is very important for my studying and if I start to get tired, or honestly bored, I just need to take a break. AND THATS OK! Every single time I've taken a day off I have come back scoring better.
Anyways lol I kind of ranted but I really hope this helps!
@Bayside This helps so much!! Thank you and congrats!!!
@alyssazimmer Same!!!! I feel your pain, I am stuck at 155 and idk what to do. My goal is a 165 by the Fall.
@williiam.m I've been stuck for almost two months...
