I just wanted to say I was extremely worried when I first started studying (jan1) that I would not have enough time to get a good score come April, and granted I obviously haven't taken the real thing, but I went from a 148 diagnostic (jan1) to a 169 PT (today ehehe) and I'm over the moon. I just wanted to post this for non trad applicants. I am 24, a veteran, have three children 1,3, and 4. My 4 year old being non verbal and having level 3 autism, but I was still able to get to a place where Im comfortable with my score (thanks to my amazing husband). Idk I'm so happy and wish I could just tell my day one self that I was gonna be fine. Good luck April testers!

putting the fact that I'm the 1% that chose D in my diversity statement for my apps
I was feeling good about the other question types (after paying meticulous attention lol), I figured flaw would be easy for me..... WRONG hehe
I got it right, but I just guessed and this one sounded the least bad LOL wowwww
@kiarahemani I was going to ask this as well. I've found though, sometimes the rest of the video, while explaining why an answer choice was wrong there is something meaningful introduced. sometimes I watch the rest of the video on a higher speed and slow it down if he starts talking about something I haven't considered yet.
@mibuch I felt so confident and quick on q1 (still over by 4sec lol), and that was actually the one I got wrong..
@Bayside wait nvm... why did it click as soon as I hit post LOL. Ok so I understand it for q 2, but still confused why "no" can't negate "all" in q1
I don't truly understand why in questions 1 and 2 it can't be "no A are B" I know what I'm supposed to do, but I don't understand why it CANT be no?
If we are negating
"some A are not B"
saying "no A are B" WOULD negate that...right?? I know I'm missing something small but at this point I feel like I'm just memorizing and not UNDERSTANDING. idk id love some help if anyone could explain
If I am studying for the LSAT, I'm in my office
SL->O
If I am not in my office, I am not studying for the LSAT
/O->/SL
@CollinEsquirol I said to myself while reading the statement: Normal periods vs. interglacial periods. Which is not "correct" but it didn't matter in terms of my understanding.
Why is it that when I pause to read, my screen goes blank. Super annoying, anyone else have that issue?
@alyssazimmer this was me about a month ago, I was really stuck. Here's a few things Ive started doing and idk if they will work for everyone but they are things that have helped me. When I am doing drills or PTs, when I answer a Q I "hide" the ACs I KNOW are not correct, chose the AC I want, and leave visible ACs that I wasn't 100% sure were wrong. This way, If I got the Q wrong and it's something I left unhidden, I can mainly focus on why that was right and why the answer choice I chose was wrong. I don't have to waste my time learning why AC I would have never chosen are wrong. Granted I think learning why AC were wrong in the beginning was valuable but at this point I am I little more confident in what I know. Im really hoping that makes sence lol.
I have also been using the heck out of that highlight tool, which might sound like lame advice, BUT I feel like in RC in particular I've started to recognize parts of the passage that I just FEEEEEL like I will be asked questions about, and I like to highlight when I come across those. It saves Me time if?when I look back to the passage.
Besides those 2 things, I like to take a day OFF, I won't touch 7 sage and I'll come back better for some reason. I find that QUALITY over QUANTITY is very important for my studying and if I start to get tired, or honestly bored, I just need to take a break. AND THATS OK! Every single time I've taken a day off I have come back scoring better.
Anyways lol I kind of ranted but I really hope this helps!
