Hi! I just took my very first PT and scored a 150. I would like to be up in the 160/165 range - would this be at all possible for the June test or should I just wait for August??

Also any tips for quick score raise would be great!!!

I always look at whether it's feasible. I have had students contact me who want a 20 point jump in 3 weeks and won't move their test date, and I tell them that that's going to be hard to do, ask if they are flexible on their dates, and if they're dead set on that score improvement in that time I honestly will tell them I'm not a good fit to work with them because their expectations are unrealistic. All that to say that I'm pretty honest and direct with people. If you were a student who came to me and said these are my goals, I'd probably tell you that August is a better target. SOME students could do this under the right conditions, but you don't know if you are one of them. If this is a cold diagnostic that helps, because it's more likely that just getting some basic fundamentals you don't currently have will give you a bigger increase. But if you were to come to me with this goal and ask me when to target, I'd say August.

I definitely think it's possible, but takes a lot of consistent work and practice. My first LSAT was in August 2025, and I scored a 154. I was able to raise it to a 160 by October (2 months later). That being said, a 6-8 point jump is significant by LSAT standards. A 10-15 point jump would be difficult by June, improbable but not impossible. I would personally wait until August if you can.

I am now aiming to take again in June, and trying to get consistent scores between 166-174.
