Hi! I just finished the core curriculum -watched all of the videos, took extensive notes, etc. However, I’ve begun drilling and it’s like I’ve internalized nothing I’ve watched/read for the past three months. My projected score is barely above what my diagnostic was. I’m feeling extremely discouraged and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or if this is an experience anyone else has had? I signed up for the June LSAT but it looks like that’s off the table.

Do you have an idea where you feel like you're consistently coming up short? Part of studying well for the LSAT is being able to self-evaluate where you're coming up short. Taking that one step further, being able to evaluate your biggest limiter currently enables you to prioritize what to tackle first rather than looking at the whole and attempting to do it all at once.

I felt the exact same way when I finished the curriculum. What I did was start drilling by question type after a reviewing the notes from the curriculum. Meaning I reread notes, maybe watched a few lessons here and there for tricky things like conditional logic rules I forget, then I started drilling with easy level 1-2 drills. Once I got those 100%, I would move on to level 3, then 4 and 5. The lessons stuck in my mind much better this way. I'm afraid it really just takes practice! You can do this!!

the bulk of improvement comes from drilling and sections i feel like!! repeating and repeating till you intuitively quickly answer question types is learned best by doing, not studying, but that can be a personal style thing too! keep your chin up op!!!

I had the same experience. You're going to hate my answer... but I went through the curriculum again, I think it helped having context from drilling- I understood and retained techniques better the second time around.

i have done the same but have seen improvement from drilling and doing LR sections. I didn't see improvement at first either. You just need to keep practicing. It's like anything, picking up a sport, instrument, etc. You got this!!!
