Self-study
Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone can help me in closing the score gap (Timed vs. BR).
I've been seeing some improvement but I am concerned if this indicates more of shaky foundations rather than just time pressure.
Any tips or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Hello, I would review the core curriculum again and again until the foundations are second nature. Additionally, I would attend classes on the questions that give you the most trouble. Ask questions in class and volunteer to do questions, so the instructor can hear your thought process. Furthermore, do a deep review and sit with the incorrect answer choices to fully understand why the choice was incorrect.
@Marci Yes! ive started doing the wrong answer journal (1 month ago) with specific questions and i think thats why my BR score has improved
Focus on accuracy now, trying to fully finish timed sections is not doing you any good
Personal I think you lack foundation…anything under 150 score needs to redo foundation lesson/class even if you have to do it multiple times…
If not moving forward leads to reenforcing bad habits/bad logic/bad approach
What helped me was that I did some untimed sections but forced myself to ID the question type, highlight the conclusion and make a rough anticipation for each question. Once I started to get into the habit of that, I did a timed section at 150% time and then lowered the time as my accuracy got better.
@Zdubbs I may try this, thanks you!
Usually, the first ten or so questions are easier than the rest of the section, so getting multiple wrong there to me could be indicative of shaky fundamentals, unless you are just rushing right out of the gate and not reading stim or ACs carefully enough
@Jdunni I think its mostly cuz i try to rush thru it due to time, if i dont see improvement ill definitely refresh fundamentals
