When would you guys advise to take the last exam before Friday? I took one yesterday, but I want to see if I can crank out one more this week. Do you think it might be too close to the exam to take an entire PT on Wednesday?

The annoying answer: it's up to you, and what feels most comfortable!

The fuller answer: What's most important is to check in with yourself and why you want to take this PT. How are you intending it to benefit you?

The question of how you're going to score on this PT is also a big factor. Either you get the score you're hoping to get, or you don't. If you have an off day and the latter happens, how's that going to affect you going into the big day?

Generally, I don't recommend students PT the week before they test. Even when you're in full "LSAT shape," taking a 3 hour test is a lot of time and mental energy. Do some light studying to keep yourself warm, but take some time to do things that make you feel like yourself that have nothing to do with the LSAT, or even law. You had a whole life before you ever started studying for this test, and there are so many parts of you that have nothing to do with law school. Check in with those parts :)

Don't do a PT the day before the test - honestly don't do any full sections or tests! Review wrong answer journals, articulate takeaways and question strategies, then do something completely different - see friends, watch a movie, etc.

You don't want to expend that much energy and focus the day before, focus on getting yourself in the right mindset and getting a good night of sleep.
