If anyone took Reading Comp Hero and still has their notes, would you mind telling me what the main point of the development passages and the author exploration passages should be?

I took RC Hero several months ago, but I lost a good chunk of my notes from Dustin's course due to a random systems software update. I'd be so grateful for your help. Thank you in advance. ~
