I have been studying for just about a year. I've taken it twice (both rushed) so now I am finally taking my time. I have been just doing drills recently with an average of a 160 equivalent so i am feeling pretty good. That being said, I want a 160. I've got 7 weeks. Help!

Echoing what others have said - start moving on to full PTs and take the test once you consistently PT in a range you're happy with. It's good to take your time! I definitely rushed my first attempt too and saw the results of that process.

    Hello!

It's great that you are taking your time to prepare for your third LSAT without rushing. Since you are hitting your goal on drills, I highly recommend transitioning to doing full PTs to see how you perform under a real exam environment. As you might have already experienced during your first two official attempts, sitting for a full exam requires a high level of mental stamina. By the last section, it is extremely easy to lose focus and feel fatigued.

Therefore, I recommend you strictly practice simulating a real exam setting to 1) see how well you can do under the real environment, and 2) train your endurance. If you can hit your goal consistently in your PTs under this strict simulation, then I believe August LSAT is doable!

I hope this helps, and good luck!

  • Do not register for the lsat until you are PTing consistently in that range. Account for variance as well. A lot of people take the exam and report scoring lower their first time.

I think you should. If you feel ready. That's what matters. :)
