Hi! I want to preface this by saying I know that this is a good problem to have, and I'm super grateful to 7sage and those who have helped me along the way :)
I feel like I have been stuck in a plateau for the last month or so, and don't know what to do. Any advice is appreciated! I am aiming for a 175 on the August test, but my PTs scores over the last month have not really been moving. 172 (May 31) -> 173 (June 8) -> 177 (June 14) -> 172 (June 21) -> 173 (June 24) -> 173 (June 27). I feel like it's not really a question of time since I am left with a bit of time at the end of each section (am I rushing too much?). I review all of my mistakes thoroughly and drill my priority question types. What else can I do? Would a session with a tutor help?

Hey! This plateau is super normal, especially when you're up into those 170s. Points get harder to come by the higher your score is. Because you are such a high scorer, it's difficult to diagnose without having more specifics. Getting a couple sessions with a tutor (7sage has a 3-session minimum) would be beneficial, or you could bump your subscription to Live for a couple months, which comes with a free half-hour tutoring session/month.
If you don't want to do tutoring, I would recommend not only just understanding why the wrong answers are wrong/right are right, but also on why you chose that answer in the first place. If studying for the LSAT is just training your brain to think a different way, it helps to understand how your brain works in the first place!
When you're at this high of a score, unless you're seeing clear question types you're repeatedly getting wrong, chances are the mistakes are more question-specific than question-type specific. I'd look for patterns in the ACs or stimuli of the questions you're missing. Chances are, your struggle is less about understanding the concepts, and more about breaking down language or seeing the bigger picture of the argument. If you're someone who relies on indicator word groups, this is also a good time to understand why certain words belong in specific groups.
It's also worth taking a look at what happens between the PT and the 180 BRs! What changes the second time around? I know you mentioned timing doesn't feel like an issue, but there's something that has to account for the difference between those scores.
I hope that helps, and happy studying! I'd also like to flag that even if you aren't hitting your goal score, your scores are still pretty phenomenal. As you grind, don't forget to be proud of how much you've accomplished so far :)
