When I'm doing a timed section, if I pause the timer, I often forget to unpause it when I continue. This can mess up an entire practice test! I really liked how the UI would hide/blur the question when paused. At least give us the option to toggle this on/off.

Ok, I just realized that when I was clicking the timer, it just hid the countdown, it didn't actually pause it and I can pause it by opening the menu and clicking the pause button. It's kind of scary how long it took me to realize that clicking the timer wasn't actually pausing the timer. This is a really unintuitive UX. Are we allergic to words with modern design these days? Something like "hide countdown" would have it clear what was going on
