When I'm doing a timed section, if I pause the timer, I often forget to unpause it when I continue. This can mess up an entire practice test! I really liked how the UI would hide/blur the question when paused. At least give us the option to toggle this on/off.

Ok, I just realized that when I was clicking the timer, it just hid the countdown, it didn't actually pause it and I can pause it by opening the menu and clicking the pause button. It's kind of scary how long it took me to realize that clicking the timer wasn't actually pausing the timer. This is a really unintuitive UX. Are we allergic to words with modern design these days? Something like "hide countdown" would have made it clear what was going on

I just use the notes as a WAJ. Early on, I would throw my notes into ChatGPT to identify patterns in mistakes I was making. Since my recent score have been closer to my goal, I have stopped doing that.

adaptations at the oath's periphery by some combination of revision, supplementation, and modern interpretation

How is engaging in "adaptations at the oath's periphery" by "revision, supplementation, and modern interpretation" not modifying the code? It is slight modification, but modification nonetheless.

@danjpeach96 I've been scrambling to go from zero to LSAT ready in 2 months. At least shooting for next year you have plenty of time to work up to your best LSAT score.

I am 36 years old and also work in software development. I'm taking the LSAT this week and planning to start school part time in August while I continue working full time. I have 4 kids. It's gonna be hard, but we've decided to make the sacrifices necessary to make it happen.

I was between the correct answer and my chosen answer, but I didn't feel like either answer was correct. To me, the flaw was not in confusing a necessary condition with sufficient one, but with confusing necessary with the ONLY sufficient one. I chose B because it seemed to imply that nuance slightly better to me (although it did make the leap of nervous system existing -> nervous system sending messages).

I'm having trouble seeing why B is necessarily the best answer. Both A and E seem to be at least equally correct if not better answers.

A. This gives the chimp a reason for threat gestures beyond simple anger. When a chimp is in a situation where preserving social status is the highest goal, he is more likely to gesture.

E. If the same chimp usually has the same response then the difference could be explained simply by individual temperaments of the chimps.

B. Even if gesturing helps vent aggressive feelings, it doesn't explain why the chimp chose to gesture before attacking in the first place.

I chose B cause I read "cannot be protected" as "cannot be protected by law". Tricky!

I saw the following connection between B and the stimulus.

  • B: if even one document is damaged/lost -> whole of historical record will be damaged

  • Stimulus: If one building (the train station) is preserved -> it's an impediment to new development (as a whole)

How is this less correct than C?
