Help With Your Heart is seeking motivated interns who are passionate about community service, nonprofit work, outreach, advocacy, and helping people in need. Interns will support the organization’s mission by assisting with community engagement, administrative projects, fundraising efforts, social media, event planning, and program development.

This internship is a strong fit for students interested in nonprofit management, social work, psychology, public policy, communications, marketing, pre-law, public health, or community advocacy. Interns will gain hands-on experience working with a nonprofit organization while building professional skills in communication, organization, leadership, outreach, and service.

Responsibilities may include:

Assisting with community outreach and partnership development

Helping plan and organize nonprofit events, drives, or service projects

Creating social media posts, flyers, newsletters, and promotional materials

Supporting fundraising campaigns and donor outreach

Researching grants, community resources, and potential sponsors

Maintaining records, contact lists, and basic administrative documents

Communicating with volunteers, donors, and community partners

Helping develop new programs or improve existing services

Representing the organization in a professional and compassionate manner

Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Interest in nonprofit work, community service, or helping vulnerable populations

Reliable, organized, and able to complete tasks independently

Comfortable using email, Google Docs, Canva, social media, or similar tools

Professional, respectful, and compassionate attitude

Prior volunteer or nonprofit experience is helpful but not required

Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week, but can be depend on your availability

Location: Remote

Compensation: Unpaid; academic credit may be available depending on the student’s school requirements
