I am having the same struggle. I scored a 162 on the last three PTs I have taken and after BR scored 169, 174, and 176. Clearly the gap for me comes when I am answering under timed conditions. I have been using the AI coach to help me study in a more targeted way to reach my goal score (170+ on September test). Recently the AI coach advised me to take a pause on PTs and focus solely on specific question types I am consistently missing. I have been drilling my problem question types under timed conditions and WAJing/reviewing explanations when I choose the incorrect answer. This seems to be helping me as it is made me deep dive on why/how I approach problems differently under timed vs untimed conditions. I have seen my drilling/section scores increase as I have followed the AI coach instructions. I am in no way an expert, but maybe this method of studying could help you as well! Best of luck!! Rooting for you!
@drudawson and I feel like it’s not all or nothing either like you could start with time and a half and then gradually as you get bette, go to time plus 30% etc, doesn’t have to be totally untimed or full time.
I feel like for me rushing at full time right away makes me practice getting the answer wrong lol
Hi! I would take an extra look at the questions that you're getting wrong the initial time around, and right on BR. You may understand the concepts, but aren't comfortable enough with them to get the results under a time crunch. That tells us there's still more work to do!
I'd also take a look at your testing strategy, specifically with regards to timing and flagging. Lowering your bar for flagging and moving on helps you break away from being caught in feedback loops, and ultimately leads to time leftover so you can go back and approach questions that were giving you trouble with fresh eyes.

Tbh what I do is a section a day RC/LR, along with the lessons for that section.
Doing so many full practice tests to me seems very stressful and not very helpful.
I’m at around 167-168. I went up from the 140s within weeks. For me it’s working

I hope that helps, and good luck!
