Hi, I have taken the LSAT twice officially (nov 25 and jan 26) and have gotten basically a 145 on both tests. (yikes.) I thought I could make a big score jump, but obviously didnt. I am now planning on taking it in October, and I have been studying the past 3 months or so. On my blind reviews of my PTS, I have gotten 157-160. However, my actual score has not really gotten any better. I am genuinely struggling and am having a hard time identifying what it is that I am doing/understanding incorrectly. I've been stuck in the high 140's for months now, and I desperately want to see my score improve as soon as possible. The pressure of the time I have left to improve is definitely getting to me and I am starting to panic. I want to see myself improve so very bad. My goal score is at least a 160. If there is any tutor out there that could help me out, please please please let me know !!!!

Hey! First off, I think you have plenty of time until October! I know the LSAT is stressful, but I'm sure you can find a way to reach the score you want. If you'd like, I think I can help you out!

An approach I suggest for people who are scoring in that range and need a breakthrough into the 160s is to do a deeper review in addition to a simple Blind Review. With a deep review, you identify the question types you miss most often and, through a detailed analysis of every answer choice for each question you got wrong, create rules and identify mistakes you shouldn't repeat. After that, you reinforce those rules with drills focused on those question types - that way when you approach those question types in actual PTs or timed sections, your mind will get used to applying them.

If you'd like, I can explain this approach in more detail (and applied to your actual results/data) during a free consultation. Let me know if you're interested!
