Hello! I've been studying for the LSAT for about 3 months, and the last month has been the most consistent (10-15 hours of studying a week). I started with a 156 diagnostic score on PT 158 in April. Since then, my score has only gotten worse. My most recent PT Score was a 151 with a 164 BR score. On drills, I'm getting consistently higher scores, and my confidence is increasing, but with my goal of a 172, I'm not sure if I'll make it by my current September Test date. The questions I have are: how many hours a week do I need to be studying to get my desired score? Do I need to push my test date back further? And any practice tips based on the info above?
Thanks!

There's not enough information to really know if it isn't possible but is there a reason you have to only take it once? I originally went in with a goal of 160 last year, took it a second time and hit 164, and opted to go next cycle despite getting into a school.
Is there a reason why your timeline is dead set on September rather than thinking longer term? There may be but just throwing that out there.
That aside, I think you're making critical errors in your understanding of the stim, the answer choices, or both. Translation drills (drills where I literally just focused on the stim and a potential prephrase of where holes in the argument were, how something could be resolved, what could be an inference) without even touching the question or the answer choices were my bread and butter into my 160 and I still swear by them for people who are having trouble breaking into the 160s.
It may feel like taking a step back but it's a great way to build fundamentals without the extra burning of materials (you only see a question for the first time once) and the extra strain and burnout of going through the question and reviewing it.
