I studied for freshman, sophomore, and (now) senior year at a US undergraduate college which does not take into account study abroad grades on my transcript - they are just recorded P/F.
I spent my sophomore year abroad - fall through a direct abroad university, and spring through another US college, one of the CUNYs in New York, where I received a few A+ . Will my CUNY grades be counted into my LSAC GPA since it is a US institution if I also submit that transcript?

@aurora05 - This is always a super sticky one because there are a few variables!
For some people, their home institution's transcript that shows P/F grades for study abroad may be enough for LSAC as long as the home transcript shows course titles and credit hours granted. But if the home institution's transcript doesn't show that (for example, if it's just blank, or has some notation regarding a leave of absence or study abroad), then transcripts from the study abroad institutions may be required.
You're in an interesting position because most people don't want their study abroad grades to count. This is because the study abroad school may have been hard graders or [cough cough] your grades that semester may have been lower since you were focused more on travel and cultural experiences rather than school. But for you, you're saying you got a few A+s so I'm guessing you do want these grades to count.
So if I were in your shoes, I'd be sure to send both my home institution AND my CUNY transcripts to LSAC. Ultimately, LSAC will have to sort this out anyway since it's their grading policies. But you might as well give them a record of those A+s right away.

@JacobBaska Hi Jacob, thanks - so far the most helpful answer by far. Quick amendment - my school records the number of study away transfer credit but not the course titles. In this case, it seems like the transcript would be required, and if it's required, does that typically indicate the grades are counted by LSAC? Thanks again.
@aurora05 Let's frame this another way - if you give LSAC a transcript that has course titles, credit hours earned, AND grades, then LSAC should count those grades in your GPA. That's why I'm saying that you shouldn't even wait to see if they request that CUNY transcript. Just give it to them and have LSAC process it as part of your record.
