Hi! Since the August LSAT Argumentative Writing section opened today, I had a few questions.
How long will it take for the score to be processed, and does processing time impact when I get my score back? I want to spend this week focused on the score part of the LSAT and am going on a 7-day trip the day after my LSAT, so I was wondering when the latest I can do the writing section to still get my score on time?
I read the 7Sage writing module, and since it was written a few years ago, have there been any changes to the weight of the writing section for my application?
What is the minimum length I should be aiming to hit?
Thanks!

1) A week after your exam is perfectly fine. Approval takes a few business days in most cases.
2) No.
3) Think in paragraphs, not a length requirement. An intro, two body paragraphs [one for each major point], a counterargument paragraph, and a conclusion is what most people do. Sometimes, people don't make the counterargument an independent paragraph if it is related to one of the arguments. Personally, I found it helpful to literally just do 1 document per argument.
Just make sure you do at least 2 of the 3 released prompts on your own to get a sense of the time crunch.
Edit: There is also a wide variety in the prompts. I can't prove it, but based on the two prompts I had (I had a tech issue my first attempt) they are shockingly similar to some debate-style LSAT RC Passages.
@antitrust_fan Thank you so much!!
