When I do BR I always tend to look at the reason why that question is recommended for BR, such as wrong or too much time. I feel like I am kind of cheating BR that way, because I am able to eliminate an answer or just skip it if it says too much or too little time. Better idea to stop right?

Definitely stop that, yeah. I'd recommend turning on the option for random questions to be selected for BR too so you have less of an indication if something is wrong even when it gets flagged.
Speaking as someone who used to do that- definitely stop doing it! I actually turned off “incorrect” for blind review so I don’t get that hint. Blind review is NOT about fixing what you got wrong: it’s about whether you can FIND OUT what you got wrong and correct it without the answer key. If you know what you got wrong during BR, it’s not “blind” anymore.
If you know your answer was incorrect while blind reviewing, you lose the chance to independently catch and prove that to yourself.
I don't know, I do the same thing. I want to know the ones I got wrong, not that I got right. If I took "too much time" on a question that I got right, I still got it right and I must have needed more time to solve that exact question, and less time to solve others so it evens out. In my head I am not "cheating" the blind review, I just don't need to review the ones I got correct right away, and if I still have questions later I can go back and review. But idk if that's even the right way to go about it lol
