I have only been studying since late May and take my first (and hopefully only) official LSAT Friday. That being said, my studying has gone well, and I have had 3 PTs at or above my goal score and have seen more consistency on sections in the past month. However, I have been told that people often score lower on test day than they do on PTs. I know this will obviously vary from person to person, but have you experienced worse performance on test day than you do on PTs, or have you scored within your practice range on the real deal?

don't get in your head about this, that's how you can do worse on the exam. you have the skillset, so you know you can do it - it just boils down to test day anxiety that can screw things up. If it helps, i've heard many stories about people doing better on test day. I just saw a tiktok of a girl saying she scored 12 pts higher than her last PT on her june lsat and was shocked. So many people do better, while some do worse, and some score similar to their PTs. just go into it knowing that yeah you could do worse, but you also could do better, so all you need to do is show up and try. best of luck!
I think it can go either way but if it makes you feel better, the first time I took the LSAT I tied my score with my highest practice test at that time! :) Good luck on Friday!
I feel like it mainly has to do with test anxiety, as long as you can manage that and go into the exam with an open mind and treat it like a normal PT, you should be okay. Easier said than done because I’m so nervous haha but I also took the test last year and scored a few point lower than how I was scoring on my PTs and it was largely due to the anxiety.
