Unfortunately I think I will be pushing out my applications to next cycle. I have already reached out to my references for my letters. Is this something I can still upload to LSAC and will they still be valid for next cycle? Or is it best to wait until next year.

Just like LSAT scores, LORs are valid for the next cycle as well so no need to worry about that! However, during the next year til the next cycle, if you find someone else who you think has a better chance of writing you a STRONGER LOR, then I would go with that option (e.g. if you have a new work experience and build a closer relationship with a boss/mentor who will be able to testify to your character/work ethic/etc)

As noted in the other comment, your LoRs should still be present in the upcoming cycle if they're loaded to your record now. But my suggestion is to reach out to your recommenders. Explain to them that you've adjusted your plans and will apply next year. Then put it to them - some may want to submit their letters now, but others may prefer to submit them in the spring or summer next year. This means you're less likely to have letters dated in 2025 while I may read your app in January 2027 (which is fine ... but a smidge weird) and it gives you another chance to talk with your recommenders next year and give them some fresh intel on what you've been up to (which usually results in a better LoR).
