Was wondering if anyone has any tips or methods they use for RC. My score seems to be getting worse for RC and I just wonder if there's some other methods/approaches I should try for RC. Would LOVE any advice.

Hi!
My name is Asma, and I’m a tutor here at 7Sage!
When it comes to RC, the key is not to get caught up in trying every method out there. Instead, I’d recommend getting really solid on a few core skills: figuring out the main point, understanding how the author feels, seeing what each paragraph is doing, and picking out the major viewpoints before you dive into the questions.
As you review, try to figure out whether you missed a question because the passage itself tripped you up, or because the answer choices were tricky. If the passage was the problem, it usually helps to slow down and pay extra attention to the structure. If the answer choices were the issue, practice spotting ones that are too strong, too narrow, or just not supported by the passage.
One more thing I’d suggest is doing some untimed passage reviews. Go through each question and explain to yourself why every wrong answer is actually wrong. This can really help you pinpoint exactly where your RC accuracy is slipping, and it’s a great way to build confidence.
Best,
Asma
