Hello everyone, this is my first time making a discussion post, as I was curious if anyone could provide tips or strategies for improving one's score on PTs. I feel like I have all the pieces to a puzzle, but I can't seem to get the pieces to fit, which is why I'm posting here to get advice and help from everyone here.

Hi!
My name is Asma, and I’m a tutor here at 7Sage!
It seems like you understand most of the concepts, but the real challenge is figuring out why they don’t always come to mind during timed practice.
Try reviewing your practice tests based on the kinds of mistakes you made, not just the question types. For each question you missed or felt unsure about, ask yourself: Did I misunderstand the passage? Did I miss the conclusion? Did I misread an answer choice? Did I use the wrong strategy? Did I get stuck between two choices? Did I rush because of time? When you do this, you’ll often start to see a pattern.
It also helps to spend a good amount of time on blind review. Before checking the answers, go back to any questions you flagged and explain to yourself why four choices are wrong and one is right. Then, compare your thinking during the test to your thinking during blind review. If you get questions right on blind review but miss them when timed, the problem is probably more about timing, confidence, or execution than about not knowing the material.
You don’t need to take another practice test right away. Most of your progress happens between tests, when you focus on the specific issues the last test showed you. The main goal is to fix those recurring mistakes, not just to get more practice scores.
You likely already have most of the pieces you need. Now it’s just about finding which one doesn’t fit when you’re working under time pressure.
Best, Asma
@Asma thank you! Would trying harder questions timed help with this as I’m finding difficult 1,2 and 3 kinda easy with hitting 80s and 100s
