I think this is a question that a lot of folks are asking today since the August LSAT results came back!
If you scan this board, you're going to find lots of evidence of me telling folks that it's ideal to apply pre-Nov 1 this year because we're likely to be at a 15-20 year high in apps. However, the #1 rule is always that you have to apply when your app is at its strongest. So if that can't happen until the November LSAT, then that's when that's going to happen.
So what can you do in the meantime to mitigate things? Well, the November LSAT is 2+ months away. So you can the next few weeks to get your core docs (personal statement, resume, etc) into a good spot. You can then focus exclusively on the LSAT for 4-6 weeks before the test. Once the test is done, you should be able to come back to your app docs, finalize things, and be ready to apply ASAP once your score comes back.
