Hey chat, I fear I have a bigggg problem. I have been studying for this test for almost 2 years. And I’m still scoring the same 😭😛
For reference: I took the official test twice.
April 2025- scored a 150
October 2025- scored a 151
And I took a practice test yesterday after studying consistently for the last 8 months and guess my score!! Drum roll…150!!!!! (Ugh) with untimed practice I was getting about 20/25 and 22/25 which is definitely my dream goal for this test under timed conditions. But I cannot complete all the questions and I overthink answer choices under timed stress. Any advice on how to stop overthinking answer choices when you are between two, and how to improve timed sections for both LR and RC.

First of all, I totally hear you! It must be very frustrating to feel stuck on a plateau for a long time.
For now, I recommend focusing on finishing all the questions within the time limit rather than spending 2+ minutes on a single tricky question. If you cannot figure out the answer on the first read and the clock is ticking, make your best guess, flag it, and move on. You do not want to waste time on one difficult question only to miss several easier questions at the end because you ran out of time. You might be surprised by how much clearer a flagged question looks when you return to it using your leftover minutes at the end of the section.
Next, it helps tremendously to identify your true weaknesses. Even though it is natural to feel like 'I get different kinds of questions wrong all the time,' careful analysis usually reveals a pattern. For instance, do you usually miss Part-to-Whole or False Dichotomy flaws initially? Build a mental 'checklist' of your most common blind spots. Next time you have a hard time locating a flaw in a stimulus, run through that checklist.
Lastly, I wonder how you perform in your Blind Review. If your BR score is significantly better: You already have the logical tools in your head! You just need to replicate your BR habits under timed conditions. If your BR score is similar to your first try: You probably need to review and revise your foundational logic tools. Re-visiting the lessons on 7Sage will definitely help!
