Hi! So sorry if this has already been asked or if I am jumping the gun here. Does anyone know when the application requirements are going to be updated for each school? I am assuming in the next week or so, but just curious. Thank you!

I can speak to that as a member of the team that's going to be doing just this!

tl;dr version - We're going to do these updates in the next few days and hopefully will have the majority done by the end of the week.

Longer version - We take the info straight from the official source - each school's application. While LSAC has loaded the preview version of many apps, we just want to make sure that there's no variation between the "preview" and the "REAL" version of the apps.

@JacobBaska And PS that if anyone is curious what page we're talking about, it's this handy dandy page here.

@JacobBaska Do you expect any major changes to applications at T14s? Do you recommend we hold off on writing apps till a certain date by which schools usually publish changes? (I just refreshed SLS's page and noticed what look like new Short Answer questions...?)

@AF2187 Far be it for me to ever say you should go to somewhere other than 7Sage (NEVER!), but the ultimate authoritative source for each school is the school themselves. Most T14 apps are open today and you can go check them out on LSAC's website and we'll be updating our website shortly. But if the school's app isn't open yet, you can always check out their admissions page. Do an internet search for "[school name] law, admissions instructions." The next thing you want to see if there are dates that clearly reference the 2026-2027 cycle. If you see those dates, you can safely assume that their information is up to date for the upcoming cycle.

Put it all together and - yup! - if looks like you HAVE to do Stanford's previously optional statement about an agreeable disagreement AND you can't just tell them about three songs that have been in your head recently.
