Wild story but true. Long story short, so when I was 19, I was arrested for a crime I did not commit. The charges were dismissed. Trust me, I have no political connections or family in law enforcement.
(Even wilder detail is the cop who arrested me was fired shortly after.)
How do I do a C&F for an instance that was a bad day on the wrong street at the wrong time? This was also 8 years ago.

This won't be the first time admissions officers see this, @spitfire-6, so don't worry about it!
If the question is "Have you ever been arrested ..... ?" then you'll have to answer "Yes" and provide an explanation.
And as far as the explanation goes, just give us the who/what/when/where/why of matters. For example, "I was arrested and charged in May 2025 on suspicion of illegally impersonating a birthday party clown. Later, the police realized that they had arrested the wrong person - their warrant was for spitfire-7 rather than me, spitfire-6. The charges were immediately dropped when the police realized their error. Please let me know if you have any further questions about this matter."
@JacobBaska Thank you so much! I feel more confident moving forward because it was such a horrible experience and my immediate thought after it happened was how it was going to affect my legal career.
I love how @7sage @J.Y.Ping provides answers from actual experts!
