Started studying about 2.5 months ago. My baseline was a 157. So far I've been improving pretty steadily. But then my two most recent PT's have been stuck at 169. I'm hoping to eventually build up to the 174 range. Currently signed up for October LSAT. Anyone have any advice for breaking into the 170's?

This is almost exactly my progression. I had a 159 diagnostic (dropped to 156 the same week, whoops) and I got stuck around 169-170 right before the April test. I sat for the April administration and scored a 171 (little bit of luck I guess)! Now, my PTs are between 172-175 pretty consistently going into the Sep/Oct tests.

The best thing for me was consistent drilling and HEAVY review. I'm talking 80/20 (review/testing). The best students aren't the ones that spend the most time doing questions, it's the ones with the highest proportion of their studying that is dedicated to review. Also, I'm not sure that this is the best strategy, but I spent a lot of time trying to get my LR sections down to -0/-1 (while sort of neglecting RC). That was what it finally took for me to push over 170 consistently.
