@ryumi hi! you wont be using your actual computer during the test anyway, so you dont need to be worried about it being flagged. as for arg writing, it will use a separate prometric browser that blocks all of that. if you clear your browser's cookies, typically that will get rid of your previous searches :) but this is what google has to say about autofill:
Turning Off Autofill in Chrome
Click the Chrome menu icon. (Three dots at top right of screen.)
Click on Settings.
In the "Autofill" section, expand the area for which you wish to disable Autofill.
Toggle the setting OFF if it is on. The system will automatically save your settings.
Clearing Autofill Data in Chrome
Click the Chrome menu icon. (Three dots at top right of screen.)
Click on History, then click on History again in the menu that appears.
Select Clear browsing data. (Alternatively, you can press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL on your keyboard to bypass steps 1-3.)
If it is not already selected, click on the "Advanced" tab.
At the top, choose “All Time” option to clear all saved data.
Make sure that the “Autofill Form Data” option is checked. If you wish to clear "Passwords and other sign-in data", be sure to check that option as well.
@bawstonlaw Hi there, thanks for your reply! I’m actually taking it remotely due to accommodations, which is why I was worried. I’m wondering if there’s a way to clear autofill without having to log out of all my google accounts 😅 I think I tried your suggested option and that’s why I got stuck
@ryumi ohh!! i think in that case, the same thing with the argumentative writing would apply; a separate window would open and it wouldnt have the autofill. i cant imagine LSAC wouldnt have a solution bc of how many people used to take it remote
@bawstonlaw I think it happened anyway even though I tested on a different blank account but it ended up fine! I didn't really seem to have any issues beside like just getting the settings to connect/work at the beginning (it was a bit annoying cause I have a macbook). Thank you though!!
