Hey everyone! We just launched a new feature inspired by Spotlight on the Mac.
It gives you a quick way to jump anywhere on 7Sage. Click the search icon (command-k or ctrl-k) and start typing where you want to go. For example, you can search for:
Drill
Study Plan
Explanations
Discussion Forum
The search is also reasonably tolerant of typos. If you can’t remember how to spell “Caligula,” for example, you can misspell it and still find the question you’re looking for.
You can also jump directly to a particular explanation by typing the PrepTest, section, and question number using your preferred notation.

Love this new feature! I would love to suggest adding a function to search for past Live class recordings by specific questions. Since multiple instructors often explain the same question, being able to find and compare different teaching styles would be incredibly helpful for students. Showing these Live class results in the search might also be a great way to encourage students on basic plans to upgrade to the Live subscription. Thanks for the great update and for considering this idea.
@GRyan Strongly agree with this. The live class recordings have a lot of potential for upgrades; especially by linking specific Qs to classes but also simply being able to keep track of what you've already watched. The classes are incredibly helpful for more advanced students who often get to a plateau. I wish I had found them sooner!
Is there a way to incorporate a search bar so that specific lessons can be located more easily ?
@BriannaSeckel Perhaps! Can you give me examples of what you're trying to search for?
@J.Y.Ping let’s say lessons pertaining to necessary assumptions, for example. Just a faster way then having to search for it manually
