I HAVE DONE LITERALLY EVERYTHING!!!!
I have hired tutors, tried different techniques, wrote low res summaries, highlighted, watched all the videos and read all the books NOTHING HELPS ME W RC!
I have been studying since January and have seen my LR score improve significantly but with RC I am stuck. I do not know what to do anymore. My average score is btw 6-12 wrong and my score always changes. I have tried figuring it out if i have problems w certain passages or questions but it always changes and depends. PLEASE HELP ME! If you are a tutor or think you can help me I WILL PAY YOU, please help me.

I don’t know if you do this when you highlight (I certainly did) but if you over highlight, stop that and highlight very intentionally (main points, author perspective). My tutor just shared that tip with me and I think it’s been helping.
Also, something else I’ve noticed for RC is that the right answer will relate back to something in the passage so I often will double-check the passage when answering a question if I’m unsure.

I felt the same way ... big brick wall with RC for a very long time. I'm definitely not an expert bc my RC score still needs work but one thing that has helped me (and I always hated when people would give this advice) was that I started reading for leisure. I noticed a big problem was my comprehension of the passage and recall. The actual questions are not super tricky especially if you are able to conceptually understand most LR questions - RC questions are a lot more simple in nature.
After struggling for forever I finally realized that I needed to be reading long form content outside of my studying. Bc when I thought about it my RC passages were lowk the longest stuff I was really ever reading in one go. I got a book that I knew I would be genuinely interested in and could sit for a period of time and read. Bc I like my book I was really focused on retaining that material I was reading. This really translated into my RC passages! This is also coming from a former Reading Log faker in elementary school. Traditionally I have NOT been a huge fan of reading just to read
I really really feel like this has helped me (also deleting social media bc my attention span was so bad helped at lot - and thats slightly extreme but im at my wits end with this test) Anyways, hope this was somewhat helpful to someone! Best of luck!!!!
I am an LSAT tutor here on 7Sage and other platforms and I can definitely help you! My approach to Reading Comprehension begins building the Big Picture one sentence at a time. This is both conceptual and tactical, so we start with learning the concepts and techniques needed and then immediately put them to use. We then track what each paragraph is doing to develop that Big Picture, rather than reducing the paragraph to a low-resolution summary of what it says.
There are also important aspects of reading that are often overlooked. Different subject matters may need to be attacked differently, and recurring structural trends within LSAT passages can be recognized and leveraged. Once your mentality shifts from a frantic rush to understand everything being said to a strategic and controlled survey of what is in front of you, you can begin reading actively and purposefully.
That sets up the second half of the process: taking quick, precise deep dives into the details only when a question asks for them. You do not need to memorize every detail during the initial read. You need to control the Big Picture, understand where the passage is going, and know where and how to return for proof. These are the things that I show to my students.

The answer is Yes to all of those questions, and it all made perfect sense, lol. I offer a free consultation, and I provide the instructional materials and specific practice assignments needed to learn and implement the Reading Comprehension process.
My RC approach focuses on building the Big Picture one sentence at a time, understanding what each paragraph is doing to develop that Big Picture, and recognizing broader passage trends based on subject matter and writing structure. We then train the quick “get in and get out” deep dives needed to return to the passage and answer detail questions accurately without getting lost in the text.
You should leave the first lesson with a clearer understanding of how to attack the passages and specific techniques to begin applying immediately. How quickly that produces a measurable score improvement depends on how much practice and reinforcement the process requires, but the goal is for every session to produce concrete progress you can carry into your independent work.
