Hi, I'm looking for a tutor that will help me go from mid 150s to at least reach a 160? I would love to get anything higher than that, but I feel like that's the least I need considering my mid GPA. I've been studying for months and just took the September LSAT but I feel like I still haven't made much improvement at all. I use to get really high BR (-4 to -1) on a section but I feel like I've undone any progress I've made. I hope to take it again in November, so would love some help!!! Please and thank you.

I am confident that I can help you break through this plateau! My overall thought would be to make sure that you are using a structured process for both LR and RC that will create consistency and speed, while also isolating and attacking the known weak spots that have the greatest potential to move your overall score.
More specifically, I would take a close look in RC at your reading technique and your ability to take those quick but deep dives into the details. To close the Logical Reasoning gap, I would first establish a repeatable top-down process for every question: identify the task, control the passage and reasoning chain, analyze the connection between the reasoning and conclusion, and determine what the correct answer must accomplish before looking at the choices. We would then identify and correct the more specific breakdowns involving question types, conditional or causal reasoning, assumptions, flaws, timing, or final-two answer decisions.
I also provide every one of my students with a personalized syllabus organizing your priorities, instructional materials, targeted drills, timed work, and schedule through November. As we gather new data from your assignments and practice sections, we would adjust the plan and devote direct attention to whatever is still costing you points.
