Whenever I sit down to work on my apps I feel so defeated. I feel like every single part of my application can and should be more competitive. Not even just my LSAT or GPA, things I can actually change and improve on, but even stuff like my Personal Statement. It's so frustrating trying to piece together an application that I know won't fully show who I am no matter how much I try (that's just the nature of being reduced to numbers and essays :( I kinda wish interviews were still a thing).
Anyone else feel the same way? I just wanna know I'm not alone tbh. I want to become an attorney more than anything, I've always known that this is what I wanted to do. My heart has been dedicated to social justice since I was a pre-teen essentially. I can't imagine myself doing anything else. But the barrier to get there, i.e. law school apps, is so kicking my ass. Ughghsghkgfdjh :(

You're definitely not the only one!!! I'm struggling a lot with this. I'm trying to 'fake it till I make it' -- we WILL be lawyers one day. When I feel like melting down I try to think about the moment a few years from now when I'm lookin back and laughing at how stressed I was during this process. It's okay to have a rough day and take a step back, but just keep pushing. You got this.
sigh thanks :'(
omggggggg!!!! I AM IN THE SAME BOAT. I feel the same way. I've wanted to be a lawyer and go to law school since I was a pre-teen, and I want it more than ANYTHING I'VE EVER WANTED. But I'm scared that my apps won't show my true potential and individuality, even though I know I can do it. My brain has also been tricking me recently, making me feel like I've faked my entire way here.
