Hey everyone! I'm Roman, a current Penn Carey Law student, and I'm taking on a few more LSAT tutoring students at $90/hour. (some availability opened up). I've been tutoring for over 1.5 years now and have helped over 60 people get their goal outcomes in this process : )
One thing I've noticed from tutoring over the past year and a half is that a lot of LSAT improvement comes down to understanding why you're making mistakes rather than simply doing more practice tests. It's pretty common to understand an explanation after getting a question wrong but then make that exact same mistake a few days later.
My approach to tutoring is to help students develop a more systematic way of approaching questions, recognizing recurring traps, and understanding the reasoning behind correct and incorrect answers. I scored a 178 on the LSAT, but having worked with students at a wide range of scoring levels, I know that what someone needs to improve from a 150 to a 160 can be very different from what they need to go from a 165 to a 170+.
Sessions are individualized depending on where you are in your preparation. We can work on Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, timing, reviewing practice tests, or figuring out how to structure your studying between sessions.
I'm also a 7Sage Independent Tutor, and I'm happy to work with students regardless of which LSAT prep resources they're currently using.
If you're interested, feel free to DM me! I'm happy to offer a free 15-minute consultation to talk about your goals and whether tutoring would be helpful for you.
