PT 147

A month ago In got out of 150s HELL with a 160. My next score was a 156. Then I retook PT 152 and got a 147. In retook PT 147 and got a 156 from a 147. PT 147 section 2 I killed that MF with a -4 but S4 I got a -14. If you were me how would you approach these fluctuations and if you've experienced this what did you do to consistently get out of 150s HELL. I work 12 hour shifts and have a 4 year old so my time is precious. Please help. I must get into law school by next year with a scholarship.

Putting aside your timeline, I think you should spend some focused studying on improving your ability to translate the stim and have an idea from it what you likely will be looking for as an answer. Even in the 160s trying to break 170, I know there are times I could have either translated faster or better to set myself up for the question and answer choices.

Additionally, I would be careful putting too much weight into the fluctuations in score because unless you're perfect, you have a range of scores you could hit at a given moment. Additionally, there's a good chance you're carrying baggage of seeing the material before and sometimes that can guide you to the wrong answer.

Obviously, it's better to not get the question wrong but this underlines needing to improve your translation of the stim.
