hey all,
If your like me and in the weeds of applying, just took the LSAT, or just stressed about this process, I would like to just share a bit of advice, as someone who has a lot of experience with anxiety and catastrophizing.
What's done is done. It's very easy to look back on this time and see the "missed opportunities" or the nights when you could have spent an extra hour studying or the info session you should have attended. that's all in the past and you can't let that impact you now. Even if you feel like you could have done more, you can't let that stop you from controling what you can now.
This process is not all black and white. Even if you did not get the LSAT score you want, or your applying later than wanted, all this will "possibly do" is hurt your application a bit. This doesn't mean that you won't get into the school you want or, hopefully your mind isn't there, that you won't go to law school. It's not a light switch, it's a dimmer.
Appreciate your progress. Myself, I know that I could have done better on the LSAT. But I also know I used to guess on half the questions in RC, that it would take me an hour to finish a LR section untimed. Now, if I guess on one question, I see that as a defeat. This is one of the most unintuitive, complicated, and demanding entrance exams out there and it takes a certain type of person to make any progress and stick with it.
Take everything one step at a time, if you focus on getting to the peak then your doomed to fail, just focus on taking one step then the next one.
Had a bit of wave come over this morning and I find this line of thinking always helps me and it makes me feel good if I can try practicing what I preach so this is advice for me too!
Best of luck all!

Really great perspective. I am also applying to Villanova - maybe we will be law school classmates!!!
