Hi guys! I've been studying since January, and I took the August test, and I did okay. I could do better, but it was my first time! Anyway, I'm still studying to retake the LSAT in November, but I am so unmotivated, ugh! I'm still sticking by my study schedule, but I dread when it's time to study and feel like it's somewhat impacting the quality of how I study because I'm essentially "over it." I am going to apply this cycle no matter what; I just need a 3-point increase for the November test, and I am going to keep pushing through with my studying, but does anyone have any motivational advice?

Honestly, this sounds like burnout. If you keep pushing through the same routine, it might just make things harder. Give yourself a couple of totally guilt-free days off. I promise, a break won't undo all the work you've put in over the last nine months. In fact, it could help you come back feeling better and ready to go.
You only need a three-point bump, so I’d focus on tightening up what you already know instead of trying to relearn everything. Try shorter study sessions, and just drill the stuff that’s still tripping you up. Quality over quantity here. Honestly, one full PT a week is plenty at this point. Timed sections and targeted drills are probably going to be more helpful and less overwhelming.
Let yourself have those 'minimum effort' days. Doing just one focused section or going over a few tough questions is way better than slogging through hours of half-hearted studying. You’ve already done the August test and put in months of work. Now it’s about showing up in November feeling rested and ready to use those skills.
@Asma Thank you so much for your input!!!
Honestly I was in the same boat not that long ago. I think one thing to easily give yourself the momentum is thinking about why you want to practice. For some goals this is easier than others. If you want to be a CPS attorney or work in environmental law or something like that, find a heart wrenching movie or something to remind you why it matters. I want to work with family law, and the Sound of Freedom (a movie about child trafficking victims) does the trick. If you want to work in corporate, maybe watch a little bit of Suits, Harvey and Mike might inspire you as you work towards becoming a badass lol. Something like that. Albeit, its not as applicable for every type of aspiration and not every type of law has a corresponding awesome, sad, inspiring, whatever it may be type of movie, but an idea.
@AlexisStrong, thank you! I will try this
