Hi all! Long time lurker here looking for some advice. I’m currently 6 years post undergrad and have built a pretty strong career. During this time, I also got my masters! Long story short, I had my professor and former boss agree to do my letters of recommendation, but I’m wondering whether I should ask my current manager as well. Would law schools find it suspicious if I use my former employer rather than my current employer? For more context, in my last role I worked more closely to the law than I do in my current role.

Nope - it wouldn't look odd to not see an LoR from your current employer. From experience, I've heard from plenty of applicants for whom it would be politically unwise to tell their employer that they're hoping to go to law school. As such, I'm never going to assume anything bad if you don't give me a current professional LoR!
