Posting these reminders for myself - and for others who may benefit - in advance of score release tomorrow
It's okay to be disappointed and sad with your score, but don't let it consume you. Stay focused on studying and preparing for the Nov LSAT
Whatever is, is
You are so much more than this test, no matter how tantamount it feels right now. Think of all the beautiful things in your life to be grateful for. How lucky am I to even have been able to take this test and consider law school?
This test is meant to be hard
Life works in mysterious ways. Maybe my score will take me to a school where I meet my life-long best friend and land my dream job
I have learned so much from this test, even if my score doesn't improve from my first take
Clients will remember how you made them feel and handled their case, not what LSAT score you got or where you went to school
On a more fun note, here's what I'm doing to prep for tomorrow: I'm dropping my film camera off today to be developed so I have fun photos to look at tomorrow; writing a gratitude list to remind myself of all that I have to be grateful for; booked tickets to see Verity in theater with my aunt and cousin (yes, I heard it was bad); and listening to Pink Floyd's another brick in the wall pt 2 to convince myself maybe I don't need an education!

I really need this thanks!
@MFried of course - you are not alone! 🫶
I have heard from multiple students that no one speaks about the LSAT once in school, so thats another thing to look forward with. Law school is full of diverse stories, the score won't define you and even if it takes another cycle or another test, it is the way things are intended. Everything truly happens for a reason!
